Have you taken your peripheral neuropathy medications today? It is important to take your medication as prescribed by your physician to ensure the best outcome. I can remember using notes and alarms to remind me to take my medication. Put these notes where they are easily visible like on your bathroom mirrors, the refrigerator door or even the inside of your front door. I used to ask family members to ask me if I took my medications too. Whatever that ensured I did not miss taking my medication. Here is an excerpt from my ebook (“9 Simple Steps, 9 Simple Steps to Reduce the Pain from Peripheral Neuropathy and Chronic Pain”) of what happened when I took two doses within an hour by accident.

“Upon release from the rehab center in December 1998 I started regular visits to my Neurologist. My pain from the neuropathy increasingly got worse, so my neurologist kept on upping the dosage. One day I took 2 doses too close to each other and I was knocked out. The fact was, I forgot that I had taken the first dose and I took the other one. I was speaking to a friend on the phone and I literally passed out.”
